What are Gillian and Brian covering?

Accommodation, breakfasts, and all dinners are on us.

What do we need to think about?

Getting to and from Il Grande Prato, lunches, the optional San Gimignano trip (and wine tour, which is TBD), and the cost of laundry services (see below for more details).

Where do we get lunch?

Il Grande Prato’s owners’ children have a restaurant down the road where you can eat-in or have it delivered to Il Grande Prato. It’s about 10 minutes away on foot. Here’s the menu, and here’s the spot. More details on lunch below.

Is there Air Conditioning?

Generally, no — some buildings on the compound may have access to Air Conditioning but it is at an additional cost and its use is dissuaded against for environmental reasons. Contact us if you have any follow-up questions.

Are there Laundry Services?

There will be one opportunity for laundry services either on Tuesday or Wednesday. Il Grande Prato has a partnership with the local laundry spot in town. The cost is approximately 8 Euros per kilo.

Will our rooms get cleaned?

Room cleanings happen every second day. Sheets are changed weekly, and towels are replaced every three days.

Is there a pool?

Oh yeah.

Are there pool towels?

You’ll get a reusable pool towel as part of your stay. Drying it should be relatively straight forward.

Can I go into town?

Yes! But, lunch is served at a specified time — 12:30 - 2:30 PM. Places close.

I like to Snack, What’s the snack situation?

There’s a supermarket in town where you can grab some food for your stay. Il Grande Prato is happy with you bringing food and drink from supermarkets.
